I just received this text from a client that made do a little jig, because it’s proof of the profound impact that Neurofeedback (NF) can have:
“I literally woke a bit more rested than I have in a long time. And now I’m making dinner and bday treats for my boy. And happy and dancing. Can’t remember the last time!!!“
I also received this email from the mother of a teenage boy who has been dealing with debilitating tics:
“After just 10 sessions we’re seeing an 80% decrease in our son’s tics. It’s nothing short of miraculous! He’s now feeling less self-conscious at school and really good about himself. We’re beyond happy about this. THANK YOU!”
So what is Neurofeedback, and how might it help you?
Neurofeedback is a subdivision of Biofeedback, also known as “EEG Biofeedback.” It’s a therapeutic intervention that provides immediate feedback from a computer program that assesses brainwave activity, then trains the brain to function more efficiently.
The EEG listens to your brain via the gentle application of sensitive pads to the scalp, and then—using a program similar to a video game—you watch graphics or listen to music or even watch a Netflix show (!) while your brain and central nervous system receive feedback signals. The program directs your brainwave activity toward more desirable, controlled, salubrious patterns. You get immediate feedback when your brainwave patterns improve. Between sessions, you should be able to notice changes in stress, sleep patterns, mental clarity, and a host of other potential improvements.
Who does Neurofeedback benefit?
Neurofeedback can help children, adolescents, and adults with a multitude of conditions, including behavior disorders, attention deficits, autism, seizures, developmenta
“If any medication had demonstrated such a wide spectrum of efficacy, it would be universally accepted and widely used.”
